The Siberian cat traces back to as early as 1000 AD. In Russian folktales and fairy tales, they were known as protectors of the elderly and of children. Before breed standards and feline pedigrees, they were known mainly as "the fluffy cats" by Russians. This is a natural breed that adapted and evolved over time to their natural environment. The Siberian breed started in the 1980's, the cat fancy hit Russia and the USSR and shows took place in large cities such as Riga, Moscow, and Leningrad. The first written standard for this breed was based on two very will-known Siberians: Mars, a blue lynx point and white; and Roman-a brown tabby and white.
In the united states, the first Siberian were imported by Mrs. ELizabeth Terell of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and David Boehm of Hackensackm of New Jersey in 1990. Today, the Siberian cat is the national cat of Russia.
Siberians come in all coat colors and patterns, and are reputedly still seen in the wild in taiga forests of Russia.
Siberians are strong and hardy cats, balanced and great hunters. They are powerful, muscular, and agile. But the expression on their face in genuine, too. This is one of the sweetest, most loving cats around. The thick fur and general roundness of their overall physique also makes them very cuddly, and they make great lap cats for their adoring owners.
Siberians kittens are also known to be dog-like. They are more dependent on human interaction and tend to bond closer than other feline breeds. This also creates a situation that provides for easier training. They purr very loudly and love to head butt their favorite humans. They are not very vocal but quickly establish communications through body language. Because of the obvious reasons above and many amazing others, the Siberian cat and kitten are rapidly becoming the pet of choice for many families.

I spent a lot of time researching for a siberian kittens (if possible) We already had a hypo-allergenic dog and my son responded positively with her so there had to be a cat out there somewhere.
I discovered this breed but wasn't very hopeful that it would work out. We bought a 9 mo old male (THEO) and to our delight he had no reactions at all. We decided to become a breeder. We are located in the Jacksonville area.
After a lot of debate and wise council we decided to breed so we could pass on hypoallergenic kitten to our family, friends, and others suffering from allergies.
Siberian kittens express the three natural types of feline fur: guard hairsm, awn hairs, and down. As with most other cat breeds, color varieties of the Siberian vary and all colors, such as tabby, solid tortoiseshell and color point are genetically possible.
Most breeders, enthusiasts, organizations, and the main registries such as TICA and the CFA accept the color point coloration as being natural. Color point Siberians are also known as "Neva-Masquerade" Nava for the river where they are said to have originated, and masquerade, for the mask-like coloration. Its coat is semi-long haired to long hair and comes in many colors and color patterns. The dander produced by these cat's (FEL D1) is measurably less than that produced by most domestic cats and is considered to be hypo-allergenic. Far more people with cat allergies can tolerate the Siberian cat quite well.
Our babies are adopted quickly, so reach out to reserve your furever friend or to ask any questions. We are a registered breeder of Siberian kittens and cats.

Reno is my best friend. He sleeps right on top of me every single night, he climbs up on my shoulders and we walk around the house. I am certain he will be the best cat I will ever own!
